Everything you own was once a living thing, a seam of ore, a field of flax. Somewhere along the way we forgot that — and started making things that outlive us for all the wrong reasons.

We are the most comfortable generation in history and the most quietly exhausted. Our homes are full of things designed to be replaced. Bright, cheap, frictionless, forgettable. HELIOS exists because we think that trade was a bad one — and because a house made of real materials feels different to live in. Warmer. Slower. Yours.
